Excel-Like Tables For The Web

Excel is a great option if you need to create a spreadsheet or a table. But if you want an editable spreadsheet or table on your website (e.g. for your clients' dashboard), you might need a different option—especially if you want it embedded on a website. With Handsontable jQuery library, you get an editable table with Excel-like features.




Displaying Row Details Tooltip on GridView using JQuery

For those of you who are looking for some GridView/JQuery popup solution, Muhammad Mossa has a nice implementation for you in which he decided to implement a feature to display some kind of details related to a row displayed on GridView. For example when displaying employees details on GridView some information might not fit in the GridView because it will make it huge and wide. These infomration can be diplayed as Tooltip. Or when you want to display a picture and some kind of formated text to be diplayed as tooltip when mouse hover on the image.
